Konverrt vs DealSource Systems
Both run cold outreach to business owners for M&A advisors and PE firms, buy side and sell side. The difference is what you pay for: DealSource sells months of a running system; we sell owner conversations, ten at a time, and refund the ones we miss.
| Konverrt | DealSource Systems | |
|---|---|---|
| You pay for | Owner conversations, in prepaid batches of ten | "a flat $4,000 a month for a single defined thesis, run end to end" |
| Price | $350 to $700 per lead, quoted after sizing | "Flat $4,000 a month · 90-day minimum · no success fee"; multi-thesis "$8,000 per month and above" |
| Minimum | One batch | "90 days, which is roughly $12,000" |
| If it falls short | Each missing lead refunded or credited | "We charge from the start of the mandate, and if the first month produces nothing you have still paid for it." |
| Success fee | None | "no success fee" |
| Exclusivity | Priced per search on request; never the same owner to two clients | "We make no exclusivity promise and have no such lock." |
| Sending domains | Ours, aged and warm; yours only as a dedicated estate | Included in the monthly fee |
| Buy and sell side | Both | Both |
When to pick DealSource Systems
You want a monthly programme with a published method and a published median, and you are comfortable spending about $12,000 before judging it. They publish their own numbers, including the unflattering ones, and that is worth something.
When to pick Konverrt
You want to pay for conversations, not months. You would rather have ten owner replies with a refund on each miss than a running system with a 90-day minimum, and you want the price range before the first call.
